PROCESS NOTES
I hated this painting. For days I looked at it and the water just looked like crimped hair and the angle seemed dumb.
Then I went choppy with brown, to define the chairs.
THEN I went ham on it with Dr. Ph. Martin’s Radiant Concentrated Individual Watercolor. And now it looks like Blue Jello and I am glad.
A note on the electric blue: Dr. Ph. Martin’s colors are not colorfast. But they are so bright, we in the studio are taking that chance.
