PROCESS NOTES
Palette: This is a funny one. I did this in one at home, in one weekend, along with several others. Most of my supplies were at the studio, so I had a limited palette - this Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor Pans - Set of 24. I was further limited in that I had already used up all the sky blue (Ultramarine Pale) and made a shadowy mess of the other dark blues. Therefore, all my blues this weekend were now MALACHITE. It made for a murkiness that I love.
Additionally, because these are opaque, I was able to bring down the aggressive darks on the chairs without using acrylic or washing the whole thing off.
